It's one thing to speculate about the situation without knowing the facts. It's another to make that comment knowing the severity of the injury to another person. Shameful.

Ive never played DL but lineman have jacked up hands all the time. I'm assuming it's integral to leverage and initial contact. I could be wrong. I don't know. What's why I asked.

It's integral to gripping and leverage. A single digit may be something he can adapt to. Of course we have no way of knowing the severity of further damage to his hand or the extent of graft, etc. he is undergoing.
