but it mentions Spags only once. I think the key question is whether the defense will be awful, poor, average (a big improvement from 2014), or good enough to keep us in games. Players matter, but so does the scheme.
Seriously though, I thought his review was for the most part, fair handed. I don't read predictions because, well, I don't care. Just can't wait for the season to start to see what we have.
You're an idiot for making such a claim off one line.
I only cited one line, I read the entire thing. Here's the thing sensitive pants, him being "excellent" as a writer is a..now stay with me superstar, you seem slow...matter of opinion. I don't like his writing style, I don't agree with most of his observations and I was bored and less informed after I read it.
So I don't like your "friend" and his writing, so what? You can like him all you want, you can follow him, so can thousands of others, it makes not one bit of difference how I feel. Further, my feeling is in fact my own and it doesn't provide you any insight into my intelligence level, but given your butthurt response and need to insult me, it shows me a great deal how very insecure you are about your opinion and the opinion those have of your "friend".
Hard-hitting rookie Mykkele Thompson is also a run-stuffing specialist of a safety.
He couldn't be more off on Thompson.
He also dumped on JT Thomas unfairly. Thomas played really good ball last year. They wanted him back in JAX. I know it's a big if....if Beason is healthy I like our Starting LBs. Very athletic and versatile group that can cover and blitz.
just not a giant fan who is going to mention a special teams ace as an offensive contributor. Especially considering that player had 7 catches last year.
Oh well. I think Jeff is great. He's not my friend. He lives in Michigan and I've never met him before.
but unfortunately, being well written doesn't make the points valid. I mean, predicting that if the Giants lose to Dallas will doom the season is horrific analysis. It then assumes a loss to Dallas will mean a loss to Washington and two blowouts to the Eagles.
Amazing in that scenario, he would still have them be 7-9.
Try doing an exercise on people doing predictions. Add up all their predictions of each team - Very rarely do the total wins match the total losses. Sort of invalidates their analysis.
A bunch of stuff I don't really agree with. His overall prediction of 7-9 is what I am predicting. 7-9 or 8-8. I just don't think we are there yet. If things click and players stay healthy I think that would be amazing. If the offense then, can take a few steps forward and get on a roll, then I think we have a shot at perhaps challenging for a playoff spot. However, I am not sure all those Ifs can break our way.
New York did little at running back, adding third-down role player Shane Vereen
So we add one of the best 3rd down backs in the league and that = "did little at running back" WTF! And he thinks Ayers is a DT? and Jenkins a DE? And Schwartz is a "solid RT" even though he's played G his whole career? and 14 ints are "too many"?
That's a laughable assertion, I will never ever read that idiot writer's drivel again. That was horrific.
You're an idiot for making such a claim off one line.
#9 overall at LT, dumping Walton, moving Richburg and Pugh, signing Vereen is standing pat?
Seriously though, I thought his review was for the most part, fair handed. I don't read predictions because, well, I don't care. Just can't wait for the season to start to see what we have.
He specifically cites Pugh and Richburg should be better in more natural roles.

He's missing on what Harris will bring too. He will be q big part of the offense.

I forgot about Harris.
The guy is a tool. Shoddy work.

Having said that, I dont necessarily disagree with the idea that a season can come down to one game. The 2011 super bowl season certainly did.
If you beat Dallas week one the opening schedule looks a lot different.
I do not want to have to play Atl in a near must win.
How in the hell does a loss in week 1 mean the game vs. Atlanta is a near must win?
Jesus.
And I'm not sure where he gets his evaluation of Jay Bromley from. I think he watched Bromley play a heckuva lot more last year than we did.
Otherwise it seemed like a cogent article.

Clown.
