It's stupid because first of all you have a guy on the bench who can replace him in this game, second of all it's not a close game, third you don't want him getting injured, and fourth it's pretty nasty to leave this poor guy hanging out there upset and crying. Yeah I was one of the biggest critics of his playing ss but I really liked him and wanted him to do well. Who doesn't like and root for home grown talent.
