A new option for JPP?

In a surgical first, Philadelphia doctors have transplanted donor hands and forearms onto an 8-year-old boy whose own hands were amputated when he was a toddler.

Zion Harvey told NBC News that the groundbreaking 10-hour operation performed earlier this month at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia was a dream come true. He can't wait for the day he holds his little sister with his new hands.

It's a great story, but obviously not a real option for JPP.

about this idiot, he is not in the plan for Giant future any longer, physically and or mentally ... he's had a life altering traumatic event as TC said ... the big blue machine pushes forward without him and waits for no-one ...
I think we need to pull the tendor

and wish him well by sending him a pack of firecrackers. I'd also work hard behind the scenes to get every team in the league to blackball his agent.

He is going to miss the vital teaching classes of this new defense because he has chosen to rehab in Florida. He is a ME FIRST GUY, NOT the type of guy you want on your team.

Be more helpful in JPPs case. Never had an issue with him until he his post July 4th idiocy. Kid may have the worst agent/advisory team in the NFL.

Are you for real? The guy screwed up having fun and lost a finger as well as messing his entire hand up! He is "Franchised" for this year, he will not be paid for training classes or the games he is unable to play! If there are any questions as to him recovering in time to play any games, why would he want to waste his time learning a new system when he is gone at the end of the season anyway! Lighten up on the guy!

Yes. I am for real and I have no sympathy for him. He was warned by the coaches as was the whole team that there are consequences to your actions and to think about your body, your profession, and your team during your time off. Instead he selfishly buys a ridiculous amount of fireworks and blows his hand up. Talk about stupid!

But that's not why I say to pull the tender. I say pull the tender because he is all about me me me and screw the team as illustrated by his selfish actions to not even let the team have a any idea how bad he is injured so they can plan on how long they may need to be playing without him. To me that is unacceptable conduct and if the Giants mean that little to him than I say he should not have the privilege of being a NYG, and I don't care how good he is.

He's going to be worthless all of 2015 anyway so lets free up the money end all the distractive speculations and move on! His head is not in the game anyway!
I think the Giants

should be patient and make the best possible decision for the team at the appropriate time. That said, emotionally, as a fan I've had enough of this guy. If he's gone I have no problem with that.

I realize you are a fan as I am. Bottom-line, shit happens! JPP made a mistake and is already paying an absurd price for it. Maybe you should think about the fact that the team would cut him in an instance if he couldn't play this year. Maybe you forget, JPP has nothing to gain by signing his tender, he still would not receive a cent if he is unable to perform. The Giants are about the Giants, you are about you and JPP has that same right! We are a society which has been bastardized to the concept of me, me, me and totally devoid of empathy, concern for others and class!

Let me see. You want me to feel bad for a man who already made more money than I ever will who is being offered 14Mil to play a hard but fun game in front of thousands of fans and young kids who he should be setting an example for, who is so stupid that he goes out and buys a truck load of fireworks and blows his hand up and then turns around and shuts his team and coaches out of the loop so he can maybe make more money?

Not going to happen. I'll reserve my empathy and compassion for those that actually need it.

Technically he wasn't warned because he wasn't at mini camp to hear the warning

That would be true except for the fact that they were warned again even before the mini camp warning after the last game of the previous season before they cleaned out their lockers. Also, this is a message TC and the coaches of all teams are constantly trying to drill into their heads. Heck, the NFL makes rookies attend training classes about this stuff and how all the money they can make will attract 'hangers on' and all kinds of opportunities to get into trouble.

First, there are mistakes and there are being really, really dumb and irresponsible.

Second, no the team will not cut him if he can't play this year ... he is not under contract.

Third the fact of JJP not signing his tender for business reasons is not the issue. The fact that he totally snubbed the team, will not communicate with them and didn't even respond to TC's text asking how he can help JPP, those are the issues that have some of us not particularly sympathetic to him about now, so you can take your righteous BS and .... never mind.
Transplant not going to help.
