NFT: TBT: WWF/WCW Invasion, lol

Hulk Hogan saying all of those things got my mind thinking of all the fun times I had when I watched wrestling. I decided to spend the last couple of nights watching clips on YouTube and what a pile of shit that invasion angle was. Now I know we have some hardcore vigorously involved WWE fans on BBI, was this the worst main angle in WWF/WWE? I haven't watched it consistently for over 10 years but I did watch a bunch of PPVs with friends and was mildly interested in the story lines over the years ....did anyone like the invasion?

I wish they would have waited but didn't they do invasion 2.0 with nwo down the road? Comments below.

typical Vince booking .And turning Austin heel was a bad idea but a funny story i heard was the night before wrestlmania 2001 some of the WCW guys were gonna do a major run in and shawn stasiak leaked to Dave Meltzer and Vince and Kevin Dunn scrapped it and fired everyone only to hire them back the next morning and told them to sit in one of the suites of the astrodome and not move

Just the implementation was crap. But I love the concept. TNA is doing something similar with GFW.

I thought it was getting interesting in early 2002 with the debut of Brock Lesnar and the loaded roster because of the WCW people who were looking for work. One thing that I didn't like about the invasion was the 16,000 titles there were between WWF and WCW. I didn't watch it for a while, I think I lost interest in it before they changed the name to WWE.
