Veteran WR James Jones is visiting #Giants, I’m told. The hope for both sides is it’ll turn into a signing. More firepower for that offense
I really don't see how signing this guy is necessary Â
who is familiar with the type off offense McAdoo runs. Figure in that you have some injury concerns around Cruz and OBJ, not to mention Randle could go either way and regress, it's not a bad idea to have him in the mix.
Veteran who is well-known to the coordinator, provides valuable insurance in case injuries or other mishaps hit a key position.
If everything goes perfectly, and the young guys are exactly what the Giants hope they are, there probably isn't a roster spot for Jones. But when was the last time everything went perfectly at any position?
looking at production he's much like Randle without upside tho likely a bit faster. And played for McAdoo. But I'd prefer him to the rest. Washington / Davis also have the upside but JJ is a proven quantity. A little fumblitis maybe but good value at this point
One Q, I assume not but can he play slot? Else it's Cruz, Parker (decent but not ideal), Harris who's unproven. Not much depth there even with a healthy VC
He'd have had near 1000 yards & 10 TDs last year. One of my best friends is a Raiders fan so I watched a good amount of their games. Carr missed him A LOT

Agreed Rick
