@RapSheet: His agent RT @AlvinKeels: Junior Galette will sign a 1 year deal with the Washington Redskins today. Junior is grateful for the 2nd chance
@RapSheet: The #Skins will make Junior Galette earn it. They’ll pay him the minimum this year with the right of first refusal next year.
@RapSheet: #Redskins love the character in their defensive meeting room. They believe they can bring in a player with questions & keep it together
Funtime at their camp practices.
Who are the "among others"? And let's try to keep it within the last 15 years. (I had no idea the Christian Peters thing would have 50 years of traction.)
Aaaaaaaaaand, there it is.
You can bet your ass that whenever we discuss current affairs, some completely clueless idiot will rush to throw the Christian Peters or LT in our faces from 600000 years ago. Like they think it makes them some kind of reasonable, level headed fan. But it's actually the complete opposite.
Christian Peters? You really reached into the vaults for that one. Again.
Anyway, so sue me, I guess I'm getting old. The point is, we don't - and have never had - a roster of angels.

What's great about this is that the"leadership is so great in Washington", that adding an asshole couldn't POSSIBLY hurt chemistry!"
Somebody posts the twitter post that he's signed a one year deal, next two pages:
"We're not mentoring children here, we're trying to win! I'm not having the guy over for dinner, I just want him to sack the QB! Great signing!"
Not kidding. It's a complete 180. Can't imagine it would have been any different here, but funny nonetheless.
Poor little Pinkus.

Michael Boley was a recent one.
I do agree with the thinking the Giants are a bit better than other franchises in this regard, though - particularly in the division.
Not that teams should be expected to bat 100% on character. But the Giants have demonstrated a willingness to enter grey areas (while avoiding the more obvious ones, which they deserve credit for).

I guess with time people forget the entire Christian Peters scenario. The guy was signed, but not activated, for the season. A condition of the signing was that he attend psychological counseling, as well as alcohol counseling before being allowed to play for the team. After nearly a full year from the signing he played his first game for the Giants.
Unless I missed something, he never had another incident during his time with the team.
Yes, his acts were reprehensible. However, until I see another team keep one of the signings off the field for a full year to undergo counseling, the comparison is invalid.
