we will probably never know but i'm really curious what kid of firework it was and whether it was a short fuse or he was just being an idiot and holding it for too long.
Thanks. I was kinda hoping(I know I need to quit hoping with this specific incident)maybe they were several weeks old and at least his other hand looked better.
RE: RE: Should we assume these pics were taken when he was released...
, not from the standpoint of a fan that wants to win,
but from the standpoint of a healthy thing for someone who has suffered a loss (part of his hand, although, emotionally, it might feel like a divorce, or loosing a friend) would be to come back to work.
Even if he never plays a single down this year, or even if he moves on after that.
Just to show up and join in, to do what you can - people, the team, and everyone else, will give him that sense of mission and belonging that can be so helpful in healing.
For god's sake, if he lost/seriously damaged his thumb, that just sucks for his life, let alone football
i am no doctor but I am trying to think of a reason why his thumb would not be sticking out from where you know where the thumb should be.
the only thing I can think of us that since he had this entire index finger and knuckle removed, this thumb is actually in now closer to the middle finger and is not in its original location. that sounds sort of logical.
Also, I may be really jumping to conclusions, but that doesn't look like a full thumb.
Probably so blood doesn't pool at the wound site and to keep it stationary.
yeah, he has the hospital ID band on his wrist
Was wondering the same thing. When were these taken?

Looks like when his bandaging happened. Most likely his second trip back to the hospital.
Finally returning that u-haul?

Bingo.
If he can't, bye bye JPP and thanks for the memories.

Such a waste.
Eli would play through it.
