I didn't see anything posted about this after a search. Will delete if wrong.
Apparently there were some issues at the session after camp today. People getting pushed up against the fence. A woman had a seizure and fans hurdled her to get to Beckham and Cruz rather than help (though some good people did help.) Even the bleachers partially collapsed.
Beckham and Cruz were whisked away at one point.
Anybody there or hear anything about this? I heard the tail end of the story on the radio. Sounds pretty bad. Here are the tweets from Rock

The bleachers didn't collapse, but the floor buckled with a loud pop. It seemed like everyone was removed safely.

At one point a woman had a seizure and lay on the ground. Fans were stepping over her to try to get an autograph.

I counted at least five young children pinned against the fence in tears.

One young girl in a body brace was being pushed against the fence , her father screaming for people to stop pushing her and her broken back.

Cruz and Odell had to run the last 50 feet or so to get out of harm's way.
Pretty pathetic to act this way. No different than the crazies at Walmart on Black Friday.

Nor did the Giants apparently because Rock said on the radio that while the cops and guards that were there were fantastic with dealing with the issues, there wasn't enough help to go around. Sounds like they underestimated the star power of Beckham.
At some point though, people need to be responsible and act less selfishly. They are Giants fans and Beckham and Cruz had to literally run away to get away from the mob. That is just pathetic.
Adults acting like fucking animals to get an autograph is disgusting.

+1 and applies to grown "men" at baseball games who fight for foul balls and home runs. I'm not talking about milestone home runs either. When I was 10 my dad had to fight off some douchebag in his 40s who was on top of me trying to get a foul ball.
And this would be also a problem with Mook's idea, crazed adult autograph seekers would take over the area..especially using kids to get them auto's..which is pathetic

I wouldn't look down on a teenager wanting an autograph. Lets not make them all grow up too fast.
But I agree once you are out of high school it is probably a hobby best put on the shelf.
What, you're supposed to wait in line behind someone who didn't plan their seizure better?
The idea of "classy Giants fans" was absurd even before this pathetic incident.
All fanbases are made up of people. And people, by and large, massively suck.
