So I get a call from my folks yesterday that they've signed a 20 year lease with Sun Edison Solar for their house in NJ? Now I've done some research on solar leasing and have got mixed responses from the homeowners.
I know about the liens that can be imposed when trying to sell the house but it does seem like a savings of around $500 per year on the electrical bill.
Has anyone here actually done this and what have the results been for you and your household? I'm a little concerned that my folks my have been scammed but I'm looking for real world stories from actual users.
