NFT: Italian Dual Citizenship

Nick in LA : 8/1/2015 4:31 pm
Any one on here ever gone through with the process? I really would like to get this going and I am curious as to what companies are the best for it. There are so many out there it is hard to cut through the bullshit and find a reputable one. Any advice is very appreciated!

The State Department frowns on dual citizenship.

I would go on the government website to make sure you're not doing something that might have an unexpected consequence before you go forward.

Not going to rule it out someday but the present motivation is to be able to work in Europe without having to jump through so many hoops. Also it is a point of pride for me to have both passports. I love the USA but I love my Italian heritage too. As far as I know Italian dual citizenship is not an issue with the state department.

co-wrote a script and we will be filming in Norway. The research I have done has told me that it will be much easier to go there to work on the film if I have a European passport. Now I know Norway is not EU but it is part of the EEA and makes it much easier to work there.
