On Eddie Trunks podcast here is what I'm confident about:

1) new music as early as next year
2) no huge tour, but possible residencies in big cities

Alex has new music he wants to put with lyrics. Geddy wants to be on the road. There's a compromise.

They won't turn their backs and slam the door on us ;)

...it was really a hardcore fans' setlist. I mean, Xanadu, Cygnus X1, Jacob's Ladder, Camera Eye, Lakeside Park... really deep picks.
