The offense was so bad for 4 months, it's going to take a lot to get to the middle of the pack. All that matters is where they rank from this point forward.

If lagares gets a few late inning appearances for defense thats fine but other than that he should be glued to the bench, he was a blackhole in the lineup and if other guys keep producing lagares sits.
Cespedes is actually terrible against lefties. Check the splits. Lagares is probably an upgrade defensively and offensively against lefties anyway. Everybody should share a little time.

I'm just sick of lagares, swings at everything and has zero plate discipline. Conforto-cespedes-granderson is the outfield they should be using daily.

Even Conforto has terrible splits against lefties in the minors. Its all good. We have a lot of nice pieces now. Nobody wants to hear it but Cuddyer is going to be a nice piece off the bench. He's been a disaster of a signing but if you separate it out and now view him as a right-handed power bat with 8 HR on your bench it suddenly looks pretty damn good. The guy has owned lefties in his career and was having his best month when he got hurt. We are going to be able to matchup and make any pitcher in baseballs life a living hell in the real near future. Just stay healthy and lets get everyone back.

the under the radar moves like Gilmartin, Byrd, Hawkins, Dice-k Sandy actually does have a pretty good track record with. Uribe and Johnson was a steal IMO.

Gomez was talking crap-ish about the mets a couple days ago. I guess he's still feeling hurt. Whatever, cespedes is amazing the last few nights.
Might need a few more insurance runs if we're going to hand the keys over to Mario for a few innings.
