Not sure if you have followed the story of this project for a HitchBot. Essentially a little robot the size of a child that was a Canadian research project where this little robot would "hitchhike" across a country. It made it's way across Canada and Germany without any issues. But in the US, with a goal to make it to California, it started in Boston, and headed south through NY, where it ended up in Philly.
And, to the surprise of no one, some douchebag in a Randall Cunningham jersey beat the crap out of it. Of course there was footage of it. When word came that it was destroyed in Philly, the first thought was, it had to be an Eagle fan. And lo and behold...the worst kind of Eagle fan. One who was celebrating the Buddy Ryan era Eagles.

It was an international experiment. Everyone else seemed to do just fine with it...except for Philadelphia.
It was a legitimate academic exercise, in large part to study the reactions.
