I had a problem with that one, because they’re out there swinging,” Coughlin said. “I’ve been hurt first-hand by a guy who broke his hand in a fight, . . . In the old days, they used to wrap it up and play. But they don’t do that anymore.
“I was upset about the fight, losing their temper and all that stuff, but the bottom line is you can’t afford to do it and lose a guy.”
In my opinion, it was a bush league move. Suppose Moore reinjured the shoulder he had surgery on in the offseason? Thankfully, he didn't, and reportedly both guys were laughing about the fight afterwards, but it was still a dumb thing to do on Pugh's part.
What was the coach's reaction? That's the difference - and if you're glorifying this behavior that gets you penalized / ejected / fined during the season isn't this somewhat of a double standard?
Camp fights are normally not newsworthy (unless there's an injury). Â
but, eentsy beentsy broom stick calves might not be optimal for an NFL DE, though, and Pugh looked like a highschooler taunting a toddler in that video, Moore gets taken of his base very easily.
almost lifted Moore off his feet. How did that not break teeth?
I don't think we watched the same thing
Better look again. Moore Swings wildly at Pugh's head and Pugh steps in and nails him right on the chin and Moore straightens right up as his head snaps backward.
Demontre might do very well as a 5th defensive linesman Â
You want to give the kid the best chance to succeed. It is not his fault he is built the way god built him and is being asked to play a traditional 4/3 DE.
Having said that, Rhousy..it's possible, I would not mess with her at all, and I am 195.
But Demontre really has no business in the straight up power game Â

Ok I watched again, stand corrected good sir. Moore does that same move like 3 times which is why I ignored the last one, but you are correct.

ala Airplane
A) He's a major star on a flagship franchise;
and
B) He's batshit crazy and might kill someone.
Did you see some small, old equipment guy or coach walk by?
His legs were 3x thicker than Moores.
I don't think we watched the same thing
I wonder if he's playing out of position. They tried to make a DE into an LB (Kiwi) -maybe they are trying to make a 3-4 LB into a DE?
Rousey might beat him. At the least, she might be able to body-slam him.
