But Flowers/Odi can only impress so much without pads. Plus, it's always harder for OL to shine.

back in April (Bennett Anderson) and now he's a first string FS. That's quite the jump!

A running plays happen by, Ayers will be out of position as usual and back to being a one trick pony.

That isn't long enough to be a standout at anything. Revisit this after the second pre season game and you at least have something to discuss.

I think he was drafted with the thought of switching him to safety.

I am really hoping this OL stays put and gels.

I am really hoping we know who the starting safeties are by at least the start of game 2 pre-season so they can get the most work and gel.

But mostly I am hoping we get out of camp healthy!

Jackson at corner but he got hurt(micro-fracture) and they figured the only way for him to make the roster was at safety afterwards.I don't think they realized he'd flash this early.

To me - this is the biggest deal. Anyone remember the second half of 2009 and 2010? Remember C.C. Brown? Bad safety play destroyed a 5-1 start in 2009. That team was still smokin' hot, had just DESTROYED the Raiders 41-7, and then Sean Payton and Drew Brees basically pantsed the Giant D and showed the entire league how shitty those safeties were.

Right now, we've got a wing and a prayer at Safety. I'll be freakin' THRILLED if Jackson and Collins play well. Hell, I'll be thrilled if the defense can crack the top 20.

Section - I think you are right. I think I remember reading (that he said) when the Giants called him they told him they were going to move him to Safety.

I am just glad that it seems like the experiment is working - which is not always the case. Because, God knows we can use the help at that position.

Flowers, LC, Odi will be fine, they're just a few practices into their rookie camp.

of the questions will start to be answered in the next few days. Today is first day of full pads and you get to see who the football players are and which of them are shorts and shells stars only.
