Me too. It amazing how after talking about the Yankees they mention that they play in a week division. However, they never mention how shitty the N.L. east is. Also that reporter Andy Martino. The Yanks must have kcicked him out of the locker room or something in the past. The next time he says something good about the Yankees will be the first.
A big AMEN to that.
But the punks on that team deserve it, too. The fat DH being chief among them.
Old time baseball rule - anything the CF can reach is his. But in this case Young should have had it until he was called off and he was looking to not catch it. Very weird for two major leaguers to blow a simple fly ball.
One of my favorite parts about Severino is how people rave about his "easy, loose" arm-action. For whatever reason I haven't heard many of the Yankees' stud pitching prospects be complimented for this. Can't wait to see him pitch.
He missed a hook in his first at bat that was a bit of a hanger.
At least he made an at bat out of that one. Probably kept him from coming out for the 7th even if the 6th is uneventful.
The Yanks' tradition of mashing in the first and shitting the bed thereafter continues. Owens looks good but they've been taking some bad swings at shitty pitches.
What a disgrace.
