This is an older article but I came across it and do not recall seeing it posted. Giants are in the top 5!

Play a lot ... Dang iPhone
they will play a lot

of slot on other teams, nothing wrong with that comment.
After reading the article,

I would put the Giants at #2 with only the Packers above them. I do that because Cruz has looked good so far and I am impressed by the depth of the receiving corps. Even some of the kids they are going to put on the Practice Squad could probably play in the NFL.
I just realized
bigfish703 : 8/4/2015 10:43 pm : link
that the article is old and did not count Jones, who has looked very good in practice. He will be insurance for Cruz in the slot.
I love Beckham and Cruz and they could end up as the top unit
robbieballs2003 : 8/4/2015 11:16 pm : link
But I would put GB and then Denver above them. Demaryius Thomas and Sanders deserve to be number two after last year. Sanders was playing out of his mind. Cody Latimer has been getting rave reviews as well.
Denver is not number 2
djstat : 8/4/2015 11:42 pm : link
What made Sanders so good last year was Julias Thomas. He is gone.

But, who cares about what pre season ratings rank a group. They are pre season. Play the game
Need to play . . . .
TC : 8/4/2015 11:48 pm : link
some games first before we start high-fiving each other.

But, yeah, they could be a nice group, and I don't even know that Donnell will be the most productive TE for the G's this season!

What a dumb comment. Julius Thomas made Sanders? Apparently you didn't watch Sanders last year.
....

Indy and Detroit belong in this discussion. Denver does too but I don't see Sanders as a big threat. Great possession guy, though.

If Cruz bounces back, obviously the Giants belong ih the top three, if not the top.
This might be one of thoe only years this is true
JOrthman : 8/5/2015 2:42 am : link
It seems like every year for the last ten or year there has been a post saying the Giants have one of the best WR corps. Usually, its just saying the best in franchise history. This year, assuming Cruz is healthy and ODB does what he did last year, it might actually be true.
I would take Cruz and OBJ....
Milton : 8/5/2015 3:29 am : link
...over Nelson and Cobb, but it's their young depth (Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery) that puts Green Bay at the head of the class. If Randle were able to put his turdish ways behind him, I would say Big Blue all the way; but after three years of inconsistency, he hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt.
Cruz has to play in a real game and look a lot better than he did
Devon : 8/5/2015 3:31 am : link
before he got injured before anyone reasonably starts putting the Giants in these conversations.
wont
jingle_jangle : 8/5/2015 7:54 am : link
Mean anything if they cant block.
I am not sure that OBJ teamed with
BlueLou : 8/5/2015 8:16 am : link
Laurel and Hardy, or even Abbott and Costello, wouldn't be a top 5 trio.
Hate to say it,
Doomster : 8/5/2015 8:29 am : link
but Cruz is practicing in bubble wrap.....until it is removed, we have no idea....
lets not start sucking eachothers dicks just yet, gentlemen
