for a day, then disappear for a week, need to be let go and replaced with able bodies, regardless of skill level ... chalk it up as "mistakes" gambling on guys with poor histories ...

Apart from a game missed due to a concussion in his first game, Berhe pretty much played a full season each year. GS 2010: 12 2011: 13 2012: 13 2014: 13
Hosley practicing (not sure that's a good thing)
Collins , Berhe and Taylor working.
Chykie Brown is healing up...he was on sideline yesterday. Randle back practicing, Prince back practicing.
I think people were definitely losing perspective on the Thompson and B. Jackson injuries. Yes its sucks for them, and yes they were in the mix in terms of playing time and possible starting, but you can't get too worked about about 2 guys who have never played in an NFL game.

Newhouse is not hurt too seriously, he had a good game last week. If he is going to miss significant time, the Giants should give Long another call, unless they want to have two rookie starting tackles.
Great to hear Cooper Taylor looks good today. He and Berhe need to step up. Hopefully Berhe did not have a setback.

You're also omitting the 2 biggest injuries: JPP and Beatty
the injuries in the secondary.... but if cruz doesn't play, it won't matter who's back there.
?? I lost you. How does Cruz impact our secondary?
We will need to outscore teams. and with randle banged up, parker looking awful.... we need cruz desperately. he is the most important injury right now sans jpp.

Ahh, now I gotcha. And I agree. I am not too worried about Cruz yet though. I'm actually more worried that Randle's knees are going to be a problem all year. Sure hope not.
Beatty loss is much bigger. Much harder to replace.
Offense has Vereen to offset Cruz. They can move him into slot. We aloe have Donnell and Harris who can take on bigger pass catching roles if Cruz can't go.

As I said, the Cruz injury doesn't worry me too much. He'll be back. Now the Cruz + Randle's knees worries me more. No matter who is is, it is important at the Giants have a good #2 to lineup opposite of Cruz. Vereen's production cannot offset that. The goal for the Giants offense is to progress, not make up for lost production.
I'm sorry, but that's on the coaches/training staff. You can't let him play if he's not fully healed to the point where he's not going to reinjure himself.
The sports culture of playing hurt is self-defeating sometimes. Because, when you play hurt, you end up hurting the injury worse or hurting something else.

Sports medicine is not 100% full proof. Just because you can pass all the medical tests doesn't mean you are not going to re-injure or aggravate things. Any former athlete who has dealt with an injury will tell you the same thing. We've come to expect medicine and science to be near infallible, but it really doesn't work that way.

Maybe it's on the staff or maybe it's a mental thing, like Coughlin stated when he first arrived. At this point, the constant injuries are beyond comical.

needs to go to IR if this is still the calf. Getting way too close to opening day to carry injured guys that are "borderline" to begin with. You can't clog up roster space with him.
Biggest concern for me at this point is Richburg. I'd expect he'll be back but it sucks that he can't really be counted on to practice.
Cruz? What else did anyone expect? He'll be limited at best this year.
You don't have a lot to offer on this forum, do you?
Stop being an asshole and go fuck yourself while you're at it.
No practice for Victor Cruz, Weston Richburg, George Selvie, Chykie Brown #giants
Jordan Raanan @JordanRaanan 7m7 minutes ago
CB Jayron Hosley back practicing #Giants
Jordan Raanan @JordanRaanan 6m6 minutes ago
LB Mark Herzlich also remains out w/concussion. Not even at point of working out with trainer on side field #Giants
Nat Berhe not out here practicing. Had returned Tuesday/late last week from calf injury. Not a good sign. #Giants
WR Preston Parker catching everything today. Just reeled in a deep ball from Eli Manning. #Giants

Parker catches everything in practice this year but seems to drop everything so far in the games.
Berhe is a head shaker.
I like that guy. Tough and scrappy.
Larry Izzo was just calling for Berhe in special team drill. Didn't realize he's not out on field. Sounds like they expected him to practice

Good coverage by Jayron Hosley in red zone drill vs Geremy Davis #giants
Odell Beckhan vs Jayron Hosley. Not fair. TD
This D-line unit looks fun: Odighizuwa, Jenkins, Ayers, Damontre.
Interception! First one of today's practice belongs to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie! #Giants
DRC with interception of Nassib. Trevin Wade INT of Stanzi #giants
Uh oh. Marshall Newhouse is down and grabbing his left ankle/foot.
Things just got real quiet in East Rutherford. Giants OT Marshall Newhouse injured, can hardly put weight on...

and just as I type that...Newhouse goes down.
Cooper Taylor having a nice day. Moving better. Blew up screen pass earlier #Giants

Newhouse has left foot/ankle wrapped #giants

If its a foot....it always takes time with olineman.

Sorry to say, but our training staff does not inspire.
What history does Berhe have?

Careful E, you'll take a lot of heat on here for possibly doubting the medical/training staff. ha

Maybe its Coughlin pushing them to get guys on field.
