I think 2011 was the 2nd installment, 07 was the first. We must have paid well.
The thing that amazes me about the Giants injuries
SimpleMan : 8/27/2015 6:23 pm : link
is that they seem to always take out an entire unit. Our secondary is in big trouble as it stands.
Ok...Lets trade for Eric Weedle

I could just be making this up but
robbieballs2003 : 8/27/2015 6:34 pm : link
it sounded like he never got an MRI on it until way after he should have. It just sucks if this could have been prevented if properly diagnosed and treated.
Um I get that we lost a guy
Headhunter : 8/27/2015 6:38 pm : link
that got very little playing time at a position that we are very thin, but let's not make it like we lost Will Hill II. We don't know what Behre is or isn't other than a body at this point
We as a team are fucking incompetent
Bold Ruler : Mod : 8/27/2015 6:42 pm : link
either he was already injured to the point of needing surgery BEFORE he tried to go the other day, or he wasn't ready and was put out there too soon by our medical staff and injured himself so severely he needs surgery.

NFL needs to remove our medical staff and bring in a new crew ala George Young.

We are fucked as a staff.
Not sure, but he could have had

compartment syndrome in the calf?

This. None of this shit raises an eyebrow in the organization?
Shocker.

Not.
looks like our safeties will be

Hoping maybe a good safety gets cut somewhere....very possible.
When do you think we'll see Richhburg?

Maybe the Packers have a safety we can swap for James Jones.
Really got to start to question
Kyle in NY : 8/27/2015 7:11 pm : link
the medical staff. Especially in a case like this where the guy keeps re-injuring the same thing.

3 seasons in a row with this stuff. Maybe it's not a coincidence?

Yeah, because good safeties get cut by the carload.

This is unbelievable.
And I thought last year was enough to make him happy

Let's hope not...but consider the numbers

1986 Superbowl win
fast forward four years to 1990 Superbowl win

Followed by the debacle that was the Dave Brown, Kent Graham, Danny Kanell 1990s.

2007 Superbowl win
fast forward four years to the 2011 Superbowl win

Followed by...

Look I'm not even a little stitious, but I don't even like thinking the team could be headed to another lost decade like the 1990s. All kidding aside, as long as Eli and OBJ are here, it will never be anything like the 1990s.

he has to go on blood thinners, then he's likely done for the year. They make you incredibly prone to bleeding, so football is forbidden.

You guys need to shut the fuck up and wait for the information to come out before you post ridiculous asinine statements.

Dude has a blood clot in his leg. What the fuck do u want strength and conditioning staff to do about that? Jab a crazy straw in his leg and suck it out?

Sounds dangerous

Here's the optimism.
Reese gambled on Taylor, a GT freshman All American, who dropped in the draft because of a heart condition that forced him to take time off and subsequently switch schools (Richmond where he earned All American honors). The heart condition now is fine (but the toe, hamstring weren't). I'm hoping the gamble will pay off and at 6'4", 228 we have NY's answer to Cam Chancellor and a nice combo for Collins.
When the Saints were unloading all those players

Kenny Vaccarro sure looks nice now

bring a helmet because chances are good the Giants will be looking for a warm body to play safety.
