It's been an eye-opening summer for the 21-year-old linemen. He played well in the preseason opener against the Bengals, then was OK in limited playing time against the Jaguars..." Link - ( New Window )
Anyone you're really close to who helps you out?
Well John Jerry, just his approach to the whole thing. He's just teaching me a lot about being a pro, handling situations that aren't on the field. Basically, it's your job. You want to be a professional in everything you do. That's probably the biggest thing I learned from John Jerry. I talk to him a lot. Just big picture. Keep grinding. He just tells me to keep pushing – the good, the bad, the indifferent.

Glad he's mentoring him about off field stuff. Not sure Jerry is the guy to teach a rookie the on field stuff.
RE: I feel pretty confident he will make the team. Â

Sometimes guys who made mistakes are the best ones to learn from.

No way he's getting cut. He's a draft pick for one, and he is actually playing well.
I'd love for Beatty to come back and man RT while Hart hopefully grows into it.
[quote] some possible upside than a guy like Newhouse who has already proven to be mediocre at best.
Me too yat.
And keep Jerry away from him :-)
I think you are wrong. When has Flowers ever practiced at RT?
Agree

Lord have mercy on your career choice if your are on Offensive Lineman that gets drafted by the NY Giants and can't make this team.

Lol, the sad truth.
