NFT: Man City gets de Bruyne

B in ALB : 8/28/2015 2:39 pm
KdB on his way to City... The best just got better.
If they can get everybody
Big Rick in FL : 8/28/2015 4:33 pm : link
On the same page they are going to win that league by 10+ points. They are playing ridiculous right now. Add in De Bruyne (Who I believe is the best passer in the world) & Nicolas Otamendi who was one of the top 3 CBs in the world last year & they are downright scary.
Silva and Sterling looked great together
pganut : 8/28/2015 5:03 pm : link
Adding de Bruyne is insane. Aguero may well win the Golden Boot by a wide margin when the counting is over. Great day at the Etihad.
he won't play against Watford i'm guessing?
B in ALB : 8/28/2015 5:06 pm : link
too soon? Who's out then?
I'm
Jon in NYC : 8/28/2015 5:07 pm : link
guessing Navas will lose his place. What an embarrassment of riches for City.
Just a guess,
Jon in NYC : 8/28/2015 5:10 pm : link
but I'd bet Nasri gets sold before the window ends.
Still can't believe
Kyle in NY : 8/28/2015 5:14 pm : link
Mourinho let him go
Yes, this is probably it for Navas
pganut : 8/28/2015 5:22 pm : link
I'd rather retain Nasri if possible. I'd be fine parting with Fernandinho if it meant keeping Nasri. Lopes was sold to Monaco. There's still Delph and Fernando in the mix at midfield. Bony will miss this game after cutting his leg, so I assume Sterling and Aguero will be up front.
Gotta love it pga

Can't wait for 10am tomorrow.
These Financial Fair Play rules
Bobby Humphrey's Earpad : 8/28/2015 5:34 pm : link
are really leveling the playing field, am I right?

All systems go!

The press says KDB "unlikely" to play tomorrow, but I'm hoping somehow they can pull it off. The Etihad might explode.
They're

going to stomp people. Wow. Absent injuries, or a total lack of "chemistry," I don't see anyone beating them for the title.
Will be interesting to see
Bobby Humphrey's Earpad : 8/28/2015 8:07 pm : link
what, if anything, the rivals do in response. Chelsea got Pedro but can use some defensive reinforcements (I wouldn't pay that much for Stones). United needs a striker and defensive reinforcements, and Arsenal needs a center back.
How lucky has Liverpool
B in ALB : 8/28/2015 8:09 pm : link
been so far? Talk about a horseshoe up the arse. Every onside/offside/goal/no goal has gone their way. Crazy.

The De Bruyne move was made with Europe in mind just as much as the Premier League

As for Liverpool they've gotten good breaks so far but will be legit if Sturridge ever returns to pair up with Benteke up front
Chelsea-Palace on now
Bobby Humphrey's Earpad : 8/29/2015 10:13 am : link
at least on my computer. Should be entertaining. Arsenal beat Newcastle this morning 1-0 after an early red card.
With the horseshoe removed from Liverpool's ass
B in ALB : 8/29/2015 10:40 am : link
they're getting waxed at home by West Ham.
Welcome to the Etihad, Raheem Sterling
pganut : 8/29/2015 11:05 am : link
Beautiful cross from Sagna one minute into the second half leads to Sterling's first City goal.

Naval off, Nasri on. Good move given City needs to push the pace here in the second half.
Rocket from Fernandinho's right foot
pganut : 8/29/2015 11:13 am : link
Makes it 2 nil, City.
City are so fuckin good
B in ALB : 8/29/2015 11:13 am : link
2-0 on a Fernandinho rifle.
Liverpool still down 2 nil
pganut : 8/29/2015 11:37 am : link
Palace now leads Chelsea 1-0 late.
Down goes Chelsea at home
pganut : 8/29/2015 11:54 am : link
Palace led 1-0, Falcao scored at 79' but Palace answered at 81'. Good day for City.
Hahahaha
B in ALB : 8/29/2015 11:55 am : link
Fuck you Chelsea. Trash.
The Hammers
pganut : 8/29/2015 11:57 am : link
Pushed Liverpool's shit in as well, dealing a 3-0 defeat.
Chelsea looks stale already
Kyle in NY : 8/29/2015 12:01 pm : link
The defensive bedrock that was so good last season just isn't there right now. Matic doesn't look the same, Ivanovic starting to slow down (and he was never the swiftest to begin with), Cahill/Terry not looking totally right either and zouma still figuring it out.

It's concerning, may need to have an active few days coming up now
Fabregas
Kyle in NY : 8/29/2015 12:04 pm : link
hasn't looked right since the new year, as well.

Man U needs a goalkeeper too after they sell De Gea to Real Madrid
On top of de Gea leaving

Valdes' transfer to Besiktas fell through, so for now, MU is stuck with someone that they don't want and who doesn't want to play for them.

And the KdB transfer for City is now official.
de Bruyne Signs for City - ( New Window )

Couldn't happen to a better side.

Outside of the obvious concerns around the Giants, it's been a great week for City fans on BBI!
Yeah it has

Great weekend. And watching trash Chelsea and the little troll at Liverpool get beat is icing on the cake.
