Maybe he wasn't healed up. Maybe he just got lucky... I'm not sure. But even if they sign another veteran after the cut to 90, I still don't think it hurts to bring him in and see if he could be a useful piece.

the guy played himself right off the roster IMO. Additionally, all of our safeties need live action game reps. We can't afford to sit guys that will be playing, especially on a Defense that they're all still learning. I know we've been bitten by injuries before, but you can't be afraid to play the game otherwise we've lost before we even started.
Now we have guys like Gordy and the Model that can help eat up some minutes, but I think ou r safeties need tons of live action reps.

Would rather see them bring in Craig Dahl (provided he gets released) over Brown, and I don't even think Dahl is that good, but he knows the Spags D and can play specials.
We're probably just as good with what we have. Maybe someone will shake loose from another team. Maybe we can offer a 7th round pick to motivate a team to part with someone who isn't great, but who could help us. I don't think Brown adds anything to our current roster.

I actually expected him to play poorly in Texas just because of past history. I was just thinking(maybe hoping?) anything might help at this point.
