Were they really favored in 2008? I recall that they were disrespected even as SB champs and Dallas was picked to win the division. I remember a lot of Giants players kept making that point throughout 2008. I think they exceeded everyone expectation and then Plax shot himself.

This preseason shit show is the real thing....The defense figures to be the worst unit, but the offense won't be able to rush the ball because we don't have the horses up front, that is a bad combination

This team is the streakiest football unit: they string wins and losses. Recall the seasons with 6-2 starts? In the past two we start out with essentially (long) losing streaks and more or less win out. I wonder how it will start this year.

Too into the game. However don t get most preseason games live so decided to watch NFL Channel and BBI for live updates.
Have to say bbi was very entertaining, hysterical and silly at times, but entertaining.
My only take on the game is in line with Headhunter and others whose sentiment is, It s only preseason and no indicator of the regular season for many reasons.
Fans often overreact to the last play they see when evaluating a player or team this game thread is a great example of that
