Not sure of the relevance of that. We stunk last season. Oh that's right, it was all injuries.
The more I realize this is a pretty awful football team.
Maybe we get lucky and Eli goes off this season and carries us into the playoffs. If not, it's time for a franchise reboot. This team, especially the defense, it's fucking awful. Jaguar level awful, just with Eli and a great receiver.
There are some just god awful players taking up a lot of valuable prime space on our depth chart.
This team is the streakiest football unit: they string wins and losses. Recall the seasons with 6-2 starts? In the past two we start out with essentially (long) losing streaks and more or less win out. I wonder how it will start this year.

The point was that it was a season where the team at some point looked absolutely awful and yet they managed to put it all together to win the Superbowl. So, yes it is just pre-season and anything can happen....because it happens in this game no matter what year.

Too into the game. However don t get most preseason games live so decided to watch NFL Channel and BBI for live updates.
Have to say bbi was very entertaining, hysterical and silly at times, but entertaining.
My only take on the game is in line with Headhunter and others whose sentiment is, It s only preseason and no indicator of the regular season for many reasons.
Fans often overreact to the last play they see when evaluating a player or team this game thread is a great example of that
