No depth? 1200 guys league-wide to be waived this week

I'd be shocked if more than 2 of them are signed and make Giants opening day roster.

OTOH, guys that contributed to Super Bowl runs have been acquired this time of year. Guys like Hedgecock, Boothe, Tolefson.

will be on the 1200. Maybe 10% claimed. 50 % make practice squads. The odds are daunting but savvy judges of talent do find talent this time of the season. Maybe safety, an O-Lineman & a DT are to be had out there. Somewhere.
