just going on a run to end the season. They have had a knack for doing that and they have the talent to do it. I don't think the mets are overachieving right now. They are beating up on the teams they should be. But I also think our BP has hit a bump. And some of our younger pitchers are tiring. But all teams run into that. I've just got that "look over your shoulder" feeling right now...but that's baseball, right?

And after 2007-2008 who can blame you? And anyone here who tells you they aren't looking at what the Nats are doing is lying. We are all scoreboard watching every day. Im confident we are the better team but that doesn't mean I am not watching the Nats closely as well.

We're all keeping one eye on the Nats.

The Mets were on a stretch where they were hitting something like .328 with RISP over several weeks. That isn't sustainable. The Red Sox series was the correction.

Division is going to come down to Mets-Nats series Â

Also have to figure Steven Matz and Erik Goeddel will return from from the DL, too.

#Mets will add Eric Campbell, Eric Young, Kirk Nieuwenhuis and Kevin Plawecki on Tuesday when rosters expand.

Also have to figure Steven Matz, Erik Goeddel and Bobby Parnell will return from from the DL, too. (Kirk technically is on rehab with Vegas)

I think Rubin was naming the position players. Dario Alvarez, for one, would almost assuredly be up as well.

Left-handed reliever Dario Alvarez also figures to rejoin the Mets soon. However, he will not be eligible to be promoted until Thursday because he has not spent the required 10 days in the minors since a demotion.
