I liked what I saw from him yesterday. Even running the ball he seems to know how to find space. I know the stats won't show that, but I think he is going to be a big factor for Eli this year. I always get the feeling that a lot of guys are holding back in pre-season. Not necessarily that they aren't going full speed but in terms of cutting, fighting for those extra yards, etc. (particularly guys who have already secured a roster spot)
Even better was Eli looked better than I've seen him throwing those short dump offs to him. He actually completed a flats pass in stride...
I think McAdoo is holding back on what this offense is really going to look like. There's a big opportunity for specialty plays for multiple different guys in the offense and I trust McAdoo to take advantage of that. I'm really hoping that naked boot that he likes to run is used very sparingly, or at least strategically.
The defense looked terrible. I expect the Giants to have one of the worst defenses in the league and I usually try to hold up on formulating an opinion before the season even starts, but it's pretty undeniable at this point. I'm just hoping our offense can put up 25-30 PPG. I guess that in itself is pretty optimistic.
Eli has never had a guy like Vereen so I'm excited to see what he can do with him.
That is all.
key point on execution, and that is why this team sucks. They don't execute on simple stuff and that is why the more complex stuff is a reach and never works and we punt. Like a coin flip with Beckham heroics, that likely will not happen as much this year.
Vereen looks as though he has had great coaching, can't say that for our guys.
This team does not have a 3 game window. Especially the first 3 games
It's going to be a long year folks.
Sure wish we'd finally spend a high draft pick on a mlb.
How the fuck can you tell and what metric are you basing it on?
Defense is another story. I think their overall talent may be better on D, but not significantly. And, I think Spags is a DC who relied very heavily on strong DL play to dictate the rest of what he likes to do. When he hasn't had that, his D hasn't been special. Again, it should be better than last year, but I don't see this being better than a middle of the pack unit,
Anyway, Vereen will be a very important man this fall. Looks like the offense will face third-and-six (or more) pretty regularly.

Yah know I thought about Barber before I posted that. However think about the offense he is in now in comparison, and Eli was still getting his feet wet with Barber. Lets hope for good things.

I guess he did not learn anything playing for the Pat and Bellicheck, one of the most consistent teams in the league inclusive of record, playoff appearances, and superbowl wins? You should consider a web form generater web page for your responses as everyone begins with the f word.
When dealing with fucking idiots, I like to dumb my language down to their level, hoping they will comprehend.
But, I should know better - I'm dealing with fucking morons half the time.

ORIENT, Maine (AP) -- Maine State Police have issued a distracted driving summons to a man who they say crashed into a tree while taking a "selfie" with his passengers, injuring several of them.
State police say Jordan Toner was driving in the town of Orient when he leaned over to take a cellphone photo with some of his seven passengers on Saturday. He ran off the road and hit a tree. Authorities say Toner was not the person taking the picture, he was trying to get in it when he crashed.
Two women in the front seat suffered the most series injuries. They were not wearing seatbelts. Several other passengers suffered minor injuries.
