12-year vet CB Drayton Florence, who retired in April, has told teams he's making a comeback. 34-yo believes he has some good football left.
It's a good strategy.

He can come to the Giants, play two downs, get injured, and get paid for a year on IR.
I always expected NYG to pursue him while Fewell was DC.

is probably better than chandler fenner.

just see if he could play you know 2 downs could be an ok 4-5 corner

According to wiki:

"Initially drafted as a nickel back who could fill in at safety if needed, Florence had fought his way to become a legitimate starting cornerback in the NFL across Quentin Jammer."

Granted that was written his rookie year in SD, but as he has lost a step I couldn't see why he wouldn't be better as a S.
