they are giving him reps at RB because they see great potential in him at RB.
He was actually playing both ways in practice.
There was NO excuse for JR to let this kid walk. I have been done with JR since he decided that MLB and S are lower on the priority list of any positions on the field.
It's time to get a new GM.
No excuse for JR to let this kid walk?
Pretty sure this is an incredibly stupid post. If I'm wrong, so be it, but it's Coughlin and staff who decides who stays and goes.
Reese and co. are in charge of aquisition and salary management. The coaches are in charge of cuts.
Nat Berhe and Cooper Taylor are called pieces of shit for being injured and preety much people want them off the oster because they've been hurt.
James was hurt and people think getting rid of him was a colossal mistake.
It is madness around here.
Like I've said - the way people talk about Reese - it is like he inherited the SB rings, got into the position and put together a string of 4-12 seasons with no talent whatsoever.
Dallas Reynolds on the roster when they signed Walton. The Giants could have played Reynolds at C, Richburg at LG and IMO have the same results as playing Walton at C,
Sorry but IMO signing and playing Walton and paying him $3M was another mistake by Reese.
I agree Walton was a bad signing and contract. Most people that post here said so the day it was signed. Just like the 3 free agent who got guaranteed money this free agent period to play roles usually filled by players making much less money who were drafted or college free agents. But if you think changing GM's is going to change the way the Giants pick players both from college and NFL free agents I think you're wrong. I don't think it matters who the GM is at this point. I think one or more of the owners are making the final calls on picking most of the players.
but it was a one-year deal with zero long term impact. Dallas Reynolds can't be the reason why you don't take a low-risk chance to improve a position. That's not smart roster construction.

Did they draft Collins to play DL or am I missing something here?
He waited until the position was so devoid of talent that had he not drafted one this year it would've been his job.

Like said above, it was worth a shot and it failed. And that failure impact is minimal.
