I hope Cespedes signs but after him you are likely looking at Parra types. Upton wouldn't work with Conforto and Granderson here. I really think the team will be just as dominant next year. We have good young players breaking their way on to the club like Conforto, plus full years from Syndergaard, Matz, Harvey a year removed from tommy John, a much improved pen. We'll be awesome next year regardless.

Oh Im not. We are going to be filthy next year. And if the worst case scenario is Lagares/kirk start out in CF until Nimmo can platoon there and Cecchini and Herrera work there way onto the roster permanently with Plawecki, Im not going to be all that upset. Especially if Conforto is turning into some star right before our eyes. That said, I still hope we sign Cespedes but we are set up real nice either way.
he is a phenomenon. Don't bring up his drug suspension and try to cheapen his contribution. Will always remember him in a positive light down the road.

No I said it might be hard when Duda comes back because of how many deserving players are on the roster. I never said anything about Conforto not DESERVING to go.
it's really amazing how well he has played since coming up. I hope they don't put too much on him next year, but i'd absolutely have as much confidence in him batting in a big spot right now as anyone else in the lineup.
