NFT: Video Games: Mad Max or Metal Gear Solid

Two new games dropped today. Was wondering if anybody had a chance to grab any of these games. Looking to play something new between a few Madden games and Crucible.

Any thoughts on either of these titles?

but the reviews for MG are 10s across the board. No brainer to purchase that between the two.
haven't bought a new game

in a couple years... but i watched someone in NZ streaming the new MGS. Graphics looked fantastic and the first 10 minutes were at least compelling
It's always Metal Gear

Since Snake Eater, I think. Is it still worth it? The story just got too weird for me.
The MGS storyline is going to be the same kind of insanity...

And draws on the story from games that were on the Sony handhelds. MGS4 required a companion app to clear up the confusing points of the story (read: all of it), so expect to have an amazing game with a confusing story if you haven't played all of them back to the NES days.

There's still likely enough to be worth a buy and ignore most of the oddness, but there's a lot of fan-service and its not a paint-by-numbers Halo-like game with no "real" story, just shooting.

suggest the usual lengthy cut scenes MG has been known for have been eliminated and that the story isnt a major part of the game.
