Humble and easy guy to root for. Hopes he makes the squad and keeps developing. Maybe a player who is under the radar cause of injuries.
Easy

C'mon Giants -- give this kid a fucking job!

He's already a better LB than Herzlich.
Scrappy and tough

but undersized and will be targeted when he is on the field. Tough to hide against the DCs in this league. As a starter means we are in deep trouble.

Lavonte David 6'1" 233 LBS

Patrick Willis 6'1" 240 LBS

Jon Beason 6'0" 237 LBS

Unai Unga 6'1" 233 LBS

From what I have seen so far this guy is always around the ball which is more than I can say for the other linebackers on the team. Cant figure how he is undersized
I like him a lot ....

Reminds me a lot of another ex Giants'fellow Polynesian who found himself here - Kawika Mitchell.

Like Kawika, he's quick and "shoots the gap" very well (that's the whole idea of the original 4-3 defense).

Recall that's how Tom Landry made Sam Huff famous - assign the defensive line to hold the L.O.S. and let the MLB make the tackle.

Unga sometimes looks a little lost (he acknowledged that in the interview), but that's just being a rookie (we've seen some of that from the vets who are also getting used to Spag's defense). That's correctable ...

What will make Unga good here is his physical ability (and much more importantly his instincts and quick reaction to the ball).

I don't think that makes any sense. Unless there is some reading between the lines here that I'm not picking up on.
