I often read through threads and see an assertion made, with condifence. Some, I can see. Others are more far-fetched.
I sometimes wonder if they'll come to frution, or fall flat.
Not that this is a prediction or assertion thread. (The best prediction might be that my attempts to glean said assertions falls flat and by season's end, I completely forget what the hell I said in September. It happens at my age.)
But Fats' assertion ...

... spurred me to log away some of these random notes, and for the hell of it, maybe later come back to see if they were spot-on? Or completely off.

The reality is that the majority of our games are close and we haven't been making the plays or getting the key stops in the last 4 years.
