WR James Jones

The guy needs to make the team. He's simply the safest, most reliable WR on the roster not named Odell and Victor (and both players are coming off injuries last year so we need some stability). He's also been the best WR all preseason (minus the fumble). He should be the #4 WR, IMO and play a lot especially since we don't have a viable TE option.

God forbid any injuries to the WR group...who do you want in a game that counts?

I really think the Giants carry 7 WR at least to start the year.

Think they like Parker on the special teams. So he may take a spot from Darkwa.

I liked Parker and talley but it just isn't gonna happen. When someone goes down hopefully we can pull Parker back. Talley isn't Ps eligible I believe but I could be wrong
I'll be pretty pissed and upset if Jones doesn't make the team

Given Randle's inconsistencies and knee problems, it's possible.
Why would they move Randle to 4th on the depth chart

when he's in his walk year, and he had nearly 1000 yards on 70 catches last season?

If he replaces anyone it's parker, but I don't think that happens.

However, it's academic, imo, no way Coughlin goes into the Dallas game with Cruz and Randle as question marks..The savvy vet will be getting his snaps imo

but the wild card is that TC REALLY likes Parker. I'm sure he works hard, and he can play specials, but he also runs wrong routes and drops a lot of balls. I don't see it. Jones, on the other hand, is still pretty damn good.

And what BHE said, if NYG cut Jones, he's on GB within minutes.

Always has, always will, and for whatever reasons Parker has wormed his way into Club Tommy as stalwarts like Kuhn, Ware, Tollefson, and Moss have done before.

Didn't see it mentioned here, but I think during a preseason game Papa and Banks were talking about how Parker plays through injury and the coaches really like that about him.

That said, I really thought Jones was here as insurance against Cruz having a serious set back in his recovery.

Rueben Randle had a better season than him last year. Can we not portray this as if we cut a pro bowl player. It's dishonest and makes it seem as if people haven't been paying attention to who he actually is.

Umm. What the hell are you talking about? No one is saying that Randle isn't better than Jones. Jones is better than Parker though and Jones should've been the #4 WR. Can we agree on that?

I guess you gotta play younger guys. I think the fumble is what lead him off the roster. I thought he looked good out there, if you think otherwise please comment below..
