Getting there. I'm up and around.. the incisions are all healing up. Just gotta be easy the next couple weeks or so and build my strength back up but I'm feeling good.
..and not a broken fibula? The tibia is the larger, more weight bearing bone.
Incorrect. Tibia is the smaller non load bearing bone that runs kinda diagonal along the outside of the calf. When I got hit by a car on my bike, I fractured my tibi and I was walking around for the night until the next day when the pain set in.

Doesn't seem like you're very familiar with anatomy.
The lower leg is made up of two bones: the tibia and fibula. The tibia is the larger of the two bones. It supports most of your weight and is an important part of both the knee joint and ankle joint. The tibia is the larger bone in your lower leg.
in about half of my fantasy leagues. The price for Bell just went through the roof...if it wasn't there already.
Actually I think Vick is a solid pick-up if Big Ben is gone for awhile. One thing he's proven in his career is if you give him the weapons he can produce.

Wow I geel like a schmuck. I suffered a "fractured tibial plateau", which is where the two bones meet apparently. I must not have been paying attention when the doctor was pointing to different parts of the X ray. My bad...I feel like a dick.
isn't the only one where Chopper is completely off. Shouldn't you be scouring the web for more interviews with Mark Cuban to prove Ahmed clearly brought the clock in to make the school and police look bad?
My amateur evaluation will wind up being wrong anyway, it does sound like a knee injury. Probably an ACL.
Yea I didn't want to blame it on them, but I also had a significant amount of percoset in my system when I had the appt with doc. I also didnt care which bone it was. I thought both load bearers started with "f".

You have to bring that shit up here too? Save it for those threads. This is a football thread.

I've broken my Tibia and it was a 5 month recovery when I was 13. I can tell you first hand, you cannot walk on it. I tried and fell down immediately and felt the bone move and rub up against the other bone. It was the most painful injury I've ever had.

arc: what happened to you? I hope you are doing well.

Thanks man. Just had to have my appendix out. In recovery mode right now but I'm getting better pretty quickly.

Alright, we get it, you hurt your appendix. "Look at me, everybody, I hurtie myself!!"
Agreed. Knees and legs aren't supposed to move that way. Something has to give when they do, and it's usually one or more ligaments.
What Surgery? I never read that
arc, forgive me for being out of the loop. Did you have an appendectomy?
You wouldn't linp off with a broken fibula. Tibia, absolutely. But fibula not.
Thanks man
This.
Don't ask me how I know.
Shhh...
We should not question radar's doctoral and anatomy know all.
First I heard. Glad it went well. Heal up.

Clearly, you haven't set up BeerFridge's "hide a BBI poster" extension for Chrome.

Are you seriously conparing my post with radars? Ive broken the bone. The fibula is the principal load bearer in the lower leg

Was calling me a moron necessary? I was wrong. I didnt argue with anybody. I didnt call people names.
Have a beer, relax.

Tibia is the big bone in front. Fibula is the smaller bone behind. Gnomonic, it is a fib to call it a bone.

have a beer and a Roethlisb[u]rger

But yea, that hit looked like ACL

Ben Roethlisberger expected to miss at least 4 weeks with knee injury, source tells ESPN. He will undergo an MRI Monday; hoping ACL intact.
