I like the Red alternates, hate the white pants with blue and prefer grey and also can't stand the 70/80/90s uni's as i think they look just like the Bills.

I like the unis the way they are.

I don't get the obsession with this. Alternate jerseys, throwbacks, etc. are nothing more than a money grab. If they want to change their uniforms, great. If not, just wear the same home and road uniforms all season long, as far as I'm concerned.

and nothing is worse than the 80s white on white away look. ive been wearing a throwback Simms for 30 years. so yeah, when it wasnt a throwback i wore it...but keep the new look.

I also read that Mara is not particularly fond of the 80's Uniforms with GIANTS on the helment. I read that GIANTS were forced on them when they moved to New Jersey and that as soon as that expired they went back to the NY logo.

and yet I don't mind the white pants, could keep the white pants with the blue jersey for home games. Gray pants for road games with white jerseys and blue at Dallas and any time we wear the blue jersey on the road.

And we get that the current uniform is a throwback. But most just want to see the 80s/90s uni's back even if it's just once a season. The GIANTS helmets are awesome, too.

Personally I like the grey pants much better. Big fan of the current uniform.

But if you are looking for accurate representation of the Giants uniform history for throwback options, I must direct you to the GUD.

It is 99.99% better than any other resource out there (the linked photo above is a perfect example of commonly accepted inaccuracies like blue jerseys from 1934.)

Keep the NY helmets, but switch the away jerseys to blue lettering.

I also miss oversized shoulder pads.

For a throwback, I'd like to see the 1934 style, blue with a stripe down the arm -- sort of a rugby shirt look. I think part of the point of the throwback is to sell some merchandise, and I could see myself buying one of those.

I like the current uniforms much better than the 80s version. I also don't mind the grey pants. The white pants looked better with the blue jersey, but I really don't give a crap if they don't switch to them.

As for using the 80s uniforms, we can't get a real 80s helmet because of the color difference. We would only be able to put the "GIANTS" decal on the existing helmet, which might look like crap with the darker jersey.

It's really the onlymalternate option. A grey jersey with numbers/stitching to match the stripes on the pants might look good.
