I know I'm not the only one who thinks that the entire New York Giants uniform looks much sleeker with the white pants. To me, the grey pants are simply ugly and ruin what is otherwise a very classy design. I know it won't happen this season but I'd really like to see the white pants become our standard uniform design in the future.
I like the current helmets but I really miss the "GIANTS" version from the 80's/90's.
For a throwback, I'd like to see the 1934 style, blue with a stripe down the arm -- sort of a rugby shirt look. I think part of the point of the throwback is to sell some merchandise, and I could see myself buying one of those.
As for using the 80s uniforms, we can't get a real 80s helmet because of the color difference. We would only be able to put the "GIANTS" decal on the existing helmet, which might look like crap with the darker jersey.
