The main argument is that it was faked by the anti-gun crowd to stimulate gun control legislation. Its idiotic and extremely disrespectful to those who lost loved ones. I rode on a plane with the JV wrestling Coach from Sandy hook last year. The pain he still carried was very evident.
Are guns so central to some people's lives that they won't acknowledge children and educators were murdered?
I can't wrap my head around how such a trivial aspect of life can be so massively obsessed by some people.

I'm not sure what your point is. Millions of gun owner in this country acknowledge the tragedy of Sandy Hook and every other tragedy involving mass killing. Not sure how you're getting any idea that people aren't acknowledging it because they want their guns.
You have made it clear in many threads involving gun control and gun violence for me to know better than to engage your hyperbolic statements, but this particular post seems so off to mark that I just felt the need to clarify that we do care and acknowledge the lives tragically lost.
No he really does not, not in the least. Its twisted numbers and cherry picked stats
The #1 stat for the gun control crowd is a completely twisted number. It's really convenient to group gang and illegal gun ownership shootings with actual legal gun ownership shootings to add to the shock effect.
Anyone who thinks that is really out of touch with reality. If you to accuse the government and/or the media of trying to push an agenda after the shootings fine but to say they never existed is insane!!!!!! That's almost as bad as the holocaust deniers.
with a truther, hoaxer, conspiracy theorist is futile.
they latch on to small inexplicable angles or misreported details and use that as a crutch to help rationalize an inexplicable tragedy.
I have had personal encounters with people who feel the Boston Bombing was a false flag, Sandy Hook is a hoax, 9-11 was an inside job, the Holocaust was completely fabricated, and so many more.
it's intellectually easier for them to believe these events were faked or hoaxes than to believe people have the inherent evil to commit the acts. And the ironic thing is they'll call people who put faith in the msm reports sheeple, but they are the ones who blindly believe concocted factless stories.
You do come into contact with a lot of weirdos, do you think it's something about you that attracts them?
LOL, it's mostly the same guy, he's a college friend of a friend of mine. he owns a business that makes wing sauce, I used to make chicken wings every single week during football season we became acquaintances through our mutual friend.
His beliefs came out slowly and he'd start with asking seemingly simply innocuous questions like "it's weird how blg 7 came down, isn't it? Does it surprise you?" and then would grow into full blown debates about 9-11 being a hoax (for example).
After the Boston Marathon bombing he'd send emails to us with pictures of the finish line right after the bomb went off without the body parts, blood and destruction, indicating to him the pictures on TV (and the event) was faked or a drill.
Eventually he was completely exposed for who he is and I stopped buying wing sauce from him and interacting with him at all, but during that time he'd point me to sites, youtube videos, blogs, studies, etc. and I actually learned a lot.
I recommend everyone be exposed to that kind of polarizing or opposite view, it's important to know what kind of element is out there and how dangerous they can be and how quick some of their rhetoric can spread.
to respond more specifically, I'm just pretty well-liked by all kinds of people, it's almost unanimous that people just like m. So maybe you are right and it is something about me that weirdos are among the multitude of people attracted to me.
Pro-gun people who don't want to see laws restricting gun ownership.

Me neither. It's hard to get why someone would exploit murdered children and call their deaths fake.
People are nuts

I'm as pro gun as they get and people who think Sandy Hook was a hoax are disgusting humans with no life.
Wtf is with people and guns?
Are guns so central to some people's lives that they won't acknowledge children and educators were murdered?

Just like everyone else trying to prove "their" point.
There are lies, damn lies, then their are statistics as Clemens would say.

but probably just the percentages at work.
