I'm looking for a new car with a quiet ride that has a great factory stereo with a subwoofer in the $40-50k range. I swear I have looked at every single vehicle in this price range from sedan to SUV to truck. I really like the new Maxima look and value the most but I don't think the 11 speaker Bose system has a sub.
Am I crazy to think a car needs a sub for good bass, and or could a vehicle like a Maxima be retrofitted with speakers with good bass? The Charger is in the same class and has one but that thing is not exactly quiet from what I read. I can't give up what little trunk a sedan has for a sub box. Or is there a sedan you guys could recommend that has a sub and a quiet ride?
Any help is appreciated!
So you're saying as long as I'm not trying to rattle the windows in my neighborhood I should be able to get good bass without some big box? I've tried to do research on crutchfield, but they have nothing - which may just be that the car is new in it's model year but i'm not sure.
In terms of what I mean sub-wise, the link is an example
Small but adequate - ( New Window )
