but that passing at the end shows that someone has a screw loose. SPags is brilliant and I love the way our D plays. Not a lot of talent but a ton of heart. Offense been playing pretty well too. We do have a coaching problem on offense. That play calling was that of an incompetent. Deeply concerning.
play calling late. But Spagnuolo is a breath of fresh air and rehiring him is the best thing we have done since we hired Coughlin in 2004. He has these guys playing hard and smart beyond their/our expectations. He is using what he has brilliantly. Bravo. well done.
It wouldn't bother me if we hadn't been doing this in every game...
I am not 100% opposed to passing every now and then in those sure running situations. But, in every game it has been the same thing and this type of playcalling contributed to 2 losses that should have been wins. McAdoo hasn't learned a damn thing. If you want to spin it, you can say he sticks to what he believes will work, but I think that is stretching it.
There are also many times a game you can call the Giants offensive play before they snap it, especially the draw plays.
I know it's after the game excitement run and gun. So no big deal. But file away for reference that Reb8th in actual real life has more clues, more courage and does more to help this country than the rest of us do in our grandest dreams.
Over and done. I know you will keep it in mind. We are good.
I think McAdoo is the best thing to happen to this organization since SB46. Eli has been in the league for over a decade and never played at the level he has for the 20 some odd games in this offense (with the lone exception being 2011). He has been terrific. I was enjoying the goose egg INT total while it lasted, but he is still on a phenomenal pace.
Offense needs to step up, and iron out the kinks in the 4th quarter. We need to figure out when to mix it up and step on the gas or when we need to properly wind the game down. A chance to go up 3 scores that late is a no fucking brainer.
It's ok. I am trying to develop a thicker skin on the rough and tumble streets of BBI. I actually didn't see it was Williams. Still hate the play call. I would have run it but would have had the FB leading
It's hard to have the philosophy that you're going up tempo, but then you have a lead and it's a polar opposite in philosophy. You go from snapping it with 12 plus seconds on the clock to running it down. It needs some work.
As far as being aggressive, I don't mind, but that last INT was needless and if nothing else, should have been a fire drill on how to run clock and close considering the way the season started.

Yup. I like our OC/DC situation. They are significant upgrades.
But there are some kinks to work out. Namely the playclock in general, and late game playcalling when leading.
I expected this since we lack offensively talent. Add injuries to the mix, and it's going to take time to iron everything out and be on the same page. That's why I thought it was unfair when people said the offense has to carry the team. I don't think we are good enough to do that. Add injuries and still not on the same page and being year 2, I think it will be some time before these things get ironed out.
Like usual, you are clueless. Williams was the full back on that play.
GO GIANTS
THE GIANTS WIN
Yeah Baby
!!!!
McAdoo TC to a lesser extent but both ultimately.

Yet we complain about McAdoo? I don't get it
The play calling on the last drive at the goalline was mindboggling. If you feel otherwise you might be a redneck!
It's like they're not learning from their mistakes.
I love the win, but c'mon.

Couldn't agree more. Run the ball there.

I sincerely give my deepest apologies. Dont blame ya for ripping me a new one.
No I fucked up royally. I deserved to be ripped.
I love the offense, Eli, McAdoo, and all that...

you are a History aficionado. Some day at a game or at summer camp...run into Reb8th.

When I realized what I did and who I called out, that was my first thought. His knowledge anything history/election news is unprecedented.

The coaching staff has absolutely butchered three of the four games.
We all know the Dallas situation.
Versus the Skins, we throw near the two minute warning instead of simply running the clock and punting.
And today.......which was just brutal. Go up by 17 and the game is over. It's a three score game.
The thing is, we got a break on the Buffalo TD down the middle, which really would have magnified this error of in coaching decision.
If the Bills didn't self destruct, they nearly made it a 7 point game with 20 minutes to go.
