Jennings runs out of bounds.
Beckham has a ball go out of his hands.
Eli throws a stupid slant.
Not one play runs the clock down when a FG gives us a 17 point lead. I am not one to blame coaches or players. But that shit has to stop. There's a lot of stupidity by EVERYONE. Coaches, quarterback, running backs, WRs. Its absolute madness.
Cater it. Nothing threatening.
This is not a general "be aggressive" versus "kneel on the ball" debate. As others have said, considering the score and the time left, there was ZERO reason to run the sequence we did, specifically on 3rd down.
The only play that makes sense is to run it, running the time down further, and kick the FG if you don't convert.
Actually, I would.
I would have said they are playing with fire there, totally unnecessary.
Then cracked open a beer.
But for those saying it was the right call, just not right execution is the ONE reason when you practically have the game clinched you don't do this. Shit happens.
And therein lies the problem.
That's the spirit. Those icebergs don't scare me on this ship, lets speed up....

TC defended the decision to throw. If he had to do it again, he would do it again. There's nothing to "fix."
And therein lies the problem.
Kicking the field goal on 1st down was a better course of action than throwing it.
Baffling how, as a fan, you can sit here and know those things and yet somehow the guys on the sideline seem not to. It's alarming and it's becoming a much too familiar theme in all of these games.
It's got to get fixed. Because it's going to happen in a bigger spot later in the season and potentially ruin everything.

Absolutely with you. And regardless, I'm not one of the people out to get rid of anyone. To me, this is just one of those things they for whatever reason they don't see as a weakness
IMO after the SB everyone has to be on the same page. Not even debating the correct strategy with that statement, just proper preparation. The fact that the QB/RB isn't sure, coaching playcall is iffy and we find ourselves in the same situations today and have lost some games in part because of it, I guess it is what it is. Love TC, but when he got here they touted his clock mgmt. Yet to me it always played out as a weakness on the field W or L. We should have learned after the SB if not 4 yrs later, simply happens too often
