according to the article posted here, is the rule:
“The home team is permitted to play audio while the visiting team is on offense and the play clock is running. The audio must cease by the time the play clock reaches 20 seconds, or when the visiting team’s offense reaches the line of scrimmage, whichever occurs first. Pursuant to this policy, the visiting team’s offense is considered being at the line of scrimmage when the center touches the ball.”

Anyone know if the horn did in fact break that?
Based on casual observation, it sure looked like it was interfering with Eli's audibles.
Question in the game discussion with no answer! I thought it was BS!! They blew the horn as soon as the play clock started for the Giants, it had to affect communications between sideline and Eli and of course the huddle. The Giants should file an official complaint. I thought there's a league rule regarding piped in sound. I actually got a fucking headache watching the game Lol!
RE: I mentioned it a couple times in the game thread Â

JG sorry I didn't see your post, I jumped the gun to respond! That's still straight up BS! They blew that fucking horn the minute the previous play ended! It is nothing like at the stadium where they play the bugle call to charge, that horn was constant! I still think the Giants should file a complaint!
Hate it when teams do this crap. The only place this isn't so annoying is Minnesota where at least there's some correlation between the team and the sound.
the f'ing Cowboys clock official giving Dallas very favorable seconds plus or minus when it benefits them is far worse. I don't think anything ever came out of that.
Was it ever discovered if the Seahawks pipe in fan noise during their home games?
Just to put some clarity behind the train whistle, it is accompanied with a corny 'Bills Train' cartoonish short on the video board. So it's not a whistle entirely out of the complete blue, it's used similar to a 'Make some noise' or 'Defense' crowd pumper on the video board.
Not to defend it by any means cause it was loud, obnoxious and possibly teetering on the illegal side, but just wanted to give it some background.
USA Today on the Bills' siren sound - ( New Window )
How is that legal?
