#Giants TE Daniel Fells had unexpected foot surgery this week and is likely destined for Injured Reserve, sources say. Another G-Men injury
much cheaper, for a reason, than Bennett - Benjamin Watson. Despite yesterday's win, I can't see the Saints going anywhere and supposedly they have a younger player. The guy is a step up from Fells and could come cheap (if the Saints were interested).
to line up as a TE? I don't want the JPP of TEs back and Donnell is too inconsistent as a receiver, though I could live with that if he were a great blocking TE. Alas, he is not that despite having enough size. Someone mentioned (B in ALB?) he does not like the contact and I do believe that may be the case.
for a TE (or any other player) at this point. It's not a sure thing that Coughlin et al will be back, and if they clean house they're going to want as many draft picks as possible.
Meanwhile, the Bears already seem to be in fire-sale mode, and probably don't want anything but draft picks.
On the other hand, the Giants are under the cap. They have money to spare, but not picks to spare. They're more likely to sign a free agent.
I think the bigger issue here, as Eric may have been alluding to, is the question of whether or not it is now becoming justifiable to question their doctors and medical staff.
especially now that we have been introduced to drive killer jr. yesterday. Maybe we can bring back Robinson and they can do rock-paper-scissors on the sideline to decide who's turn it is to go in and tank the drive.
McAdoo had him for two years in Green Bay - on the practice squad in 2012 and the active roster in 2013. He currently occupies one of the two vet slots on Arizona's practice squad, so he's in football shape. Mostly a receiver, though, when he isn't muffing on-side kicks.
Some other intriguing names on practice squads around the league:
Xavier Grimble (PIT) - Was in camp with Giants last year.
Ben Koyack (JAC) - Got some pre-draft love coming out of ND, but very raw.
Arthur Lynch (DEN) - Big target, was all-SEC at Georgia.
Nick O'Leary (BUF) - One of the guys Will Tye was buried behind at FSU.
Sean McGrath (IND) - Has WCO experience from KC, where he started nine games and caught 26/302/2 for Reid in 2013. Lost his job to Travis Kelce (no shame there).
Problem is he is more of receiving Tight End rather than blocking...
Maybe Giants give a call to the Bears?
Well, since the Giants offense is predicated on the passing game, it's actually better that he is receiving TE than a blocking TE.
toemain poisoning?

Fauria would be a nice pick up
