Does it help the 49ers

CMicks3110 : 10/5/2015 10:10 am
that they are playing the Giants' right after playing the Packers. Given that we have the exact same offense?

Yes, but it also helps us that we face a mobile QB for the second week in a row.
Now this team has some confidence.

And is facing a team with a worse record than them. Curious to see how they respond. Will they take advantage of the 49ers issues or play down to the competition?
After two tough losses, I don't think this team will be complacent.

Giants by 10or better next week.
it helps us as well...
nyblue56 : 10/5/2015 10:34 am : link
seeing how they defensed the pack, gives the team some ideas as to what to expect and what looks to give to get them into a mismatch.
The 49ers looked Gawd Awful yesterday

That offense looked like ours did in the Dave Brown era.

The defense is pretty stout, though. I'd be surprised if we put up 20 points against it on Sunday.
What bugs me

Is that we played very well on the road and the 49ers bombed out. They either lay down and die or come out swinging next week.
We don't really..

have the exact same offense.

We have an offense with similar aspects, but let's not make it sound like they are exactly the same. That should be evident in the running plays alone.

Was just going to say this. Is it really the "exact same offense"? I highly doubt it.

Highly disagree. We will put up 30+ fairly easily.
This is a 'trap' game if I ever saw one

Won two in a row after the world was ending. Play the Eagles and Cowboys in the following weeks. 49ers RECORD is bad. They've lost to three better than average teams. Giants beat two 'average' teams. It just seems like in the Coughlin era (and even before), the Giants don't win these games (the ones where they look like they should).

The general consensus was that Buffalo was a real deal playoff team going in...matter of fact the entire league was talking up Washington as well until the Giants beat them. I wouldn't call either of them average.
I think Kaepernick has 172 passing yards for the whole season

Maybe the same offense, but I think we have better receivers. I think one of GB's starters is so bad, he got cut from our team!
Niners will come out swinging
djm : 10/5/2015 2:33 pm : link
they have a new coach and the team is somewhat expected to struggle so I don't think there's that much negative pressure on them. But they still aren't any good. They have lost too much talent the last year or so.

Just step on their throat--more importantly, play mistake free football and it's the Giants game. Play a C+ type game with no big errors and the Giants win by 7.
Dinger on the money
arniefez : 10/5/2015 2:33 pm : link
the Giants need to keep playing well and setup those two division games.
Anyone
mitch300 : 10/5/2015 2:36 pm : link
seen the post game on Fox. Jimmy Johnson is asked what can the 49ers do to get Kapernick back on track and he says "bench him" The reation from Strahan was great. He puts his head in his hand. JJ then goes on to say that yesterday the 49er offensive stats for the game was not this bad since 1968.
We'll win at home
SGMen : 10/5/2015 2:38 pm : link
But we aren't going to blow them out, I don't think.

It is just the way the NFL goes. A down dog like SF will pull out all the stops.

We won't lay down or play an "off" game either though.

Giants 20-17, or something close, watch.
It helps us that kapaernick is an overrated and innacurate passer
Torrag : 10/5/2015 3:11 pm : link
Same formula as recent weeks. Stop the opponents ground game and make the QB beat us from the pocket. Giants will win this agme. As a matter of fact i think we're going to run of the next 5 games and move to 7-2. The schedule is very favorable.
