start with 2 games on the road. then get your head handed to you by a division rival in your home opener. Then after a 4pm game last Sunday, get on a red-eye to England, spend a week there and get smoked by yet another division opponent, hop the red-eye back to America and then get to drag your jet-lagged ass into the office this morning to get fired. Nice.

I hope Philbin was able to load up on duty free at Heathrow before he got his pink slip.
Frustrations have been mounting for weeks, and escalated Saturday during practice prior to the game. Philbin has also been struggling on how to handle his franchise quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, who had been rattled even in practice sessions.
On Saturday during practice, Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying: “Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”
Sources say this has been going on for the past few weeks as the practice squad players have been intercepting Tannehill and frustrating the former Texas A&M wide receiver turned quarterback.
Philbin told the practice squad players to take it easy on Tannehill to not affect the young quarterback’s confidence.
However, that didn’t prove to be an effective strategy.
Yeah, that kind of nonsense should get you fired Â
but he seems out of place in the NFL. He seems better suited for a college program that's not an NFL farm team.
My impression is that he's probably a career coordinator or low level college coach. I bet he knows his Xs and Os, but being a head coach is about managing egos and personalities, and the way he did that in Miami was to round up anyone with a personality or ego and get them moved off the team.
but would you welcome Philbin in any capacity on the Giants' staff? KNowing his connection to GB, maybe he has a good working relationship with McAdoo.
I like your idea. I believe that Joe Philbin could be a great addition and a potential asset to our coaching staff. He might very well be a Coughlin type of guy and he wanted to hire McAdoo to be his OC in Miami. The two worked together for many years in Green Bay when Philbin was the OC for the Packers.
Based on what Campbell seemed to say in his introduction Â
He's a tremendous slot WR and you can line him up all over formations and use him a lot of ways. I'm not sure Cruz is ever going to really be Cruz again.
It's obviously a pipe dream and would never happen, I just really like that kids game.
Sean Payton
Jason Garrett
Jim Fassel?????
Better to see how a young Assistant they like does with more responsibility than to get your whole staff/roster to adjust to a new re-tread.
Doesn't seem that long ago that he was playing for the us, then the Cowboys, as an awesome blocking TE.
Sean Payton
Jason Garrett
Jim Fassel?????
Sean Payton is Parcells, no?

Jim Fassel?????
yeah that tree is growing some
yep something tells me that shop at Heathrow needs to order more scotch this morning...

Reading that horror story makes me appreciate Eli all the more.

Thanks.
Get off this account, Odell.
