The score was 16-3, and there were two flags thrown against the Bills. One was for an illegal pass since the qb was past the line of scrimmage. That was the penalty they accepted. The other call was holding with the flag thrown in the end zone.
Several of the Giants on the sidelines were holding up their hands signaling a safety, but Coughlin took the illegal pass penalty. Now you normally take that one because it entails loss of down as well as yardage, but in this case wouldn't it be a safety with the Giants lead increased to 18-3 and they still would be getting the ball?
Doesn't matter where the QB was, it's where the hold occurred and that was out of the end zone. And yes we're sure.
We are all positive it wasn't in the endzone.
