Reuben Randle could be in line for a big game and I would expect to see a little more Vereen in the passing game.
Yea, I agree. I think they will come out throwing considering we have the worst passing D in the league and use that to set up their running game; wouldn't you? I think they'll want to start off by getting the Giants in unfavorable match ups (ie. covering the TE or RB)and themn adjust from there. I'm sure the Giants will probably be thinking the same. They'll try to loosen up our run D by passing more IMO, and then hiy us with Hyde. If we can weather that, we should do fairly well.
Probably going to be a close game. A lot closer then Vegas thinks, that's for sure. This is a team that's ailing and wants to show they can get it done against a decent team in the conference. I'm sure they will come out fired up to play too. We have to match that intensity and up it at home!
We need this win or we'll be back pedaling again.
He said he tweaked it on Sunday chasing Taylor. One can only assume, without any confirmation, that he's day to day. Hopefully he'll be able to play, but the GIants will not rush anyone back from injury and he was out like 4 games last year with a hammy too. I'm praying that it's only a small tweak.

Tom Coughlin on MRSA situation: "This morning, the NFL and the players association wanted us to address it."

Coughlin: "We are concerned about Daniel Fells. We still don't know the reason for the infection."
Coughlin says Ronnie Barnes, team doctors and facilities personnel spoke to the players about the MRSA infection cleanup.
Tom Coughlin has talked to Daniel Fells. Hoping he can be released from the hospital tomorrow.
Coughlin says with Fells there was "no surface" sign of MRSA.

Coughlin has no new info on Victor Cruz, but would not rule him out of playing this week.
Coughlin on Dwayne Harris: "We got Rueben going two weeks ago. We needed to get Dwayne going and I think we did."
Anyway, Selvie was also a key contributor in our successful run D last week. Hopefully he can practice this week and play.
From my view Bromley had a pretty good game. Actually he had a great game in the first half - haven't really finished analyzing his second half yet. Also, Nix was stout - looked like he did a lot of what Kuhn ever does. Didn't really see Nix do much in the backfield but Kuhn doesn't either. Finally, Jenkins played very, very well IMO at DT this past week.
If they go back to giving Kuhn a starting/prominent role in the run-stop package, and with Whitlock clearly earning more snaps in the pass-rush package, who will be losing those snaps?
Coughlin said Mcbride will practice tomorrow.

You're not kidding. It's ridiculous that they didn't even ask for an update re: Kennard.
Davis probably won't play. He's been out with a knee injury, thankfully, but I believe they are now using a guy named Garett Celek, but the way we cover TEs, anyone of them can kill us!

I stand corrected, as Tc said today that they may see V Davis on Sunday. That would suck big time.

Two weeks ago, Davis broke 50 yards receiving for the first time since 2013 - thanks to one big play in garbage time of a blowout loss. He hasn't scored in well over a year. Part of the problem is Kaepernick, but the dreaded fork is showing in this 31-year-old TE's back.

I suppose that's comforting, however, with the way we cover TE's, he could still have a big day against us. Witten is older and probably slower and still killed us!
