The incident started when the boy asked to see the girl's puppy.
When she said no, the boy got a gun and shot her dead, according to the sheriff. The boy used his father's 12-gauge shotgun, which he got from an unlocked closet.

And who really puts much stock into the Harvard/UCLA study that concluded:
"For 15 year olds to 24 year olds, the firearm homicide rate in the United States was 42.7 times higher than in the other countries."
Nonsense! Gimme my guns!

The boy's father should go to jail for a very long time. Probably won't happen, but that's what he deserves.
I sort of disagree with this. I think it's a solution dances around the problem. Sure, he is guilty of child endangerment, but this won't do anything to address the real problem. The gun.
Gonna go door to door taking everyone's guns?
That's already happening. Didn't you hear? Thanks, Obama!

B... How does that graph pan out per capita?
But of course the BBI Liberal Brigade will blame the usual suspects.
Obviously these tragedies can't always been prevented, but it's not unreasonable to put heat on those who are too cavalier with their gun ownership.

It is per capita. See where it says "per 100,000" people? That means its per capita.

And I don't doubt for a second that things have not improved over the last couple of years. Nothing to see here.

The US is #1 in gun ownership per capita in the world... Something like 112 per 100 citizens. Beating countries like Serbia and Yemen considerably.
If you're oddly referencing a "developed country" argument I will happily bow out because that is the height of absurdity.
But you definitely get the benefit of the doubt. No question. So there it is.
Don't be an asshole. I'm offering facts. Draw your own conclusions.

And I asked a simple question. Love the vitriol. Keep it up.
I would have no problem if we were to restrict semi-auto and larger round capacity weapons but at least there is improvements.

Is that what you were doing?
