on Giants ticket exchange (plus the Ticketmaster fees). I bought 4 tix in 226 last week for $8 each over face, and I should have waited. Link - ( New Window )
I always thought it was considered "scalping" when selling tickets over face value; what's the legality? Moved out of the tri-state metro area and I'm trying to figure out if I can maintain control of handed-down season tickets, whereby I'd boost the price enough so I'd be out of the red factoring in the sunk costs of the mandatory preseason games. We may move back someday.
The number of games where you could actually get a decent premium isn't very many, and is unlikely to make up the cost of pre-season tickets, especially since some regular season games won't even get you back face when the team's bad and/or the weather sucks. It's certainly not profitable if you factor in the cost of the psl.
PSL is factored out, as former work paid the fee in a deal we worked out where control goes back to me next year. From looking at the Ticketmaster site it appears that the Patriots/Jets/division games would make up for the difference, but perhaps you're right.
